Here’s a tip, if you need to get a marriage license in Orange County, make sure you fill out the info ahead of time on the web site, then just roll down to the South County Clerks office in Laguna Hills. We showed up at 11:30 and there was no line, and we were out the door in 15 minutes. (Thanks to Helen for the advice!)
